How do I book an appointment with a doctor?
Booking a doctor on HelloDr takes just a few taps. The whole process is designed to be quick and clear, so you can go from "I need to see a doctor" to a confirmed appointment in minutes. Here's the complete journey from search to confirmation.
Step by step
- Go to Find Doctors and search by speciality, symptom, city or name.
- Open the profile of the doctor you like and review their fee, location, experience and reviews.
- Choose consultation type — visit the clinic in person, or consult online by video/chat.
- Pick an available date and time slot. Green slots are open; greyed-out slots are already booked.
- Select who the appointment is for — yourself or a dependant.
- Add a short note about your symptoms (optional but helpful for the doctor).
- Confirm and complete payment if the doctor requires advance payment, or reserve and pay at the clinic.
After booking
You'll get an instant confirmation with the appointment details, plus reminders before your visit. The appointment appears in your dashboard, where you can reschedule, cancel or join the online room when it's time. For online visits, a "Join" button appears a few minutes before the start.
