How do I share a report or document securely?

HelloDr lets you share documents through a private link instead of sending sensitive files around insecurely — and crucially, you stay in control of who can see them and for how long.

Create a share link

1. Open the document (report, prescription or invoice) in your dashboard.
2. Tap Share and generate a link.
3. Optionally set an expiry or a view limit, then copy the link.

How it stays safe

• The link uses a long, unguessable token — it can't be discovered by guessing or by changing a number in the URL.
• You can revoke it at any time, instantly cutting off access.
• Optional expiry and maximum-views give you even more control for one-off sharing.

Good practices

• Only send the link to the intended person.
• Set an expiry for anything you only need to share once.
• Revoke links you no longer need so they can't be reused later.

The QR/barcode printed on documents links to this same secure shareable view, so when someone scans it they get the protected copy — not access to your account. Learn more in data protection.
