Can I get a prescription from an online consultation?

Yes. After an online consultation, your doctor can issue a digital prescription — just as valid as a paper one and saved straight to your account, ready to use immediately at any pharmacy, online or local.

Where to find it

1. Open your dashboard and go to Prescriptions (or open the completed appointment).
2. View the prescription with medicines, dosage and instructions.
3. Download or print it, or send it to a pharmacy.

Using your prescription

• Order the medicines through HelloDr's pharmacy for home delivery, or
• Take the downloaded/printed prescription to any local pharmacy.

Good to know

• Doctors prescribe based on clinical judgement; some medicines may require an in-person examination first, and the doctor will tell you if so.
• Each prescription is stored under the correct patient (you or a dependant), building a useful medication history over time.
• Keep your prescriptions — they help future doctors avoid harmful combinations and repeated trials.

Questions about a specific medicine or dose should go to the prescribing doctor via chat rather than changing anything on your own.
