How does HelloDr protect children's and family data?
When you manage family members as dependants, their data is protected with exactly the same care as your own — and you remain fully in control of it.
How it's handled
- Each dependant's records — appointments, prescriptions and reports — are filed under their name within your account.
- Only you (the account holder) and the providers you book with can access the relevant records.
- Nothing is public, and nothing is shared without your explicit action.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your own account secure, since it holds your whole family's data.
- Add accurate details (date of birth, gender) for correct dosing and reference ranges — this matters most for children and the elderly.
- Share reports only via secure, revocable links when you need to.
When a dependant grows up
An adult dependant can create their own account and take over their own records when they're ready. If you need help transferring or separating records responsibly, contact support and we'll guide you so nothing is lost and privacy is respected on both sides.
