How do I change my password?

Changing your password regularly is good security practice, and you can do it anytime from your account in under a minute. It's especially worth doing if you've used HelloDr on a shared device or suspect anyone else knows your password.

Steps

  1. Log in and open Account settings (or Profile → Security).
  2. Choose Change password.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new one twice.
  4. Save.

Choosing a strong password

  • At least 8 characters — longer is genuinely stronger.
  • Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols.
  • Avoid names, birthdays and common words that are easy to guess.
  • Use a unique password that you don't use on any other site.

After changing

You may be asked to log in again, and any other active sessions will be signed out — which is exactly what you want if you're securing your account. If you've forgotten your current password and can't enter it, use password reset instead.

Remember: HelloDr will never ask you for your password, so anyone who does is not from us.
