Short answers to the questions we hear most. Each answer links to the full policy for the details.
What personal information does HelloDr collect?
Typically your name, contact details (phone, email), city, and — with your consent — the health information needed for your booking or consultation. Providers you book also receive the details needed to deliver care. See our Privacy Policy.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways using industry-standard encryption. HelloDr does not see or store your full card details. See our Payment Terms.
Does HelloDr store my card details?
No. Card data is handled entirely by the payment gateway. HelloDr only receives confirmation that a payment succeeded.
What payment methods can I use?
Depending on availability, debit/credit cards, mobile wallets, bank transfer, internet banking, and your HelloDr wallet. The available options are shown at checkout.
Are there any extra charges for paying online?
A payment-processing or convenience charge may apply and, if so, is always shown before you confirm. Full details are on our Charges & Fees page.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes — free of charge if you do it at least 2 hours before the appointment. See the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
How do refunds work and how long do they take?
Eligible refunds go to your HelloDr wallet by default (usually within ~2 working days); bank/card refunds, where offered, can take 7–14 working days. See the Refund Policy.
What happens if I miss a paid appointment (no-show)?
A no-show charge applies: 75% of the amount paid is retained and 25% is refunded to your wallet. Full breakdown in the No-Show Policy.
What if the doctor cancels or doesn't show up?
You can reschedule, switch to another doctor, or get a full refund of what you paid. See the Appointments Policy.
How do online video consultations work?
You join through HelloDr at your scheduled time with a stable connection; a short grace period applies for minor lateness. See the Appointments Policy.
Is HelloDr a substitute for seeing a doctor?
No. HelloDr is a technology platform that connects you with independent providers, and our content is for general information only. It is never for emergencies — see our Medical Disclaimer.
How do medicine delivery and lab sample collection work?
They're fulfilled by the pharmacy or lab you order from, with charges and timings shown at checkout. See the Delivery & Sample Collection Policy.
How do I access, correct or delete my data?
Contact us and we'll help with access, correction or deletion requests. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I book an appointment on HelloDr?
Search for a doctor by city or speciality, open their profile, choose an available time slot and confirm your booking. You'll receive a confirmation instantly, along with reminders before your appointment.
Are the doctors on HelloDr verified?
Yes. Listed doctors go through a verification process, and verified profiles display a verification badge so you can book with confidence.
How do I list my clinic or practice on HelloDr?
Register a business account, choose a subscription plan from the upgrade page, and our team will review and activate your panel so you can start receiving patients.
